Film Festival
The 4th Annual Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF) has barely
begun and these directors and producers who have just met are already
laughing and telling stories as if they've known each other for

Dixie Film Festival
The second installment of the Dixie Film Fest took place October
14-15, a two-day run showcasing 37 films from around the world at
Atlanta's own Cinefest Film Theatre on the main campus of Georgia
State University.

Latin American & Caribbean
Fest
Started two years ago in an effort to educate and create awareness
about problems plaguing the Latin American and Caribbean communities,
the festival as set as its goal speaking for communities of color,
tackling the subject of poverty and exposing injustice and oppression

Tucker opens Out
On Film
Transamerica was the opening night film at this year's
very successful Out On Film Festival. The line up showcased more

CinemATL Launch Party: On Saturday, October 15, CinemATL launched its inaugural issue—live
at a celebration hosted by the Eastside Lounge and attended by many of
this city's filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals, as well as
friends and family.
The highlight of the event was the actual online startup of the magazine,
which was projected via a video screen and severalvcomputer monitor set-ups,
