Good Intentions

It was a long time coming, but cameras started to roll on Good Intentions in October 2005. The voyage from conception (a script selected as one of the top 50 of Project Greenlight II) through development highs (winner of the 2003 Southeast Media Award) and finally into production is at long last underway. The Last Adam

It's late autumn, but in Georgia it's not supposed to be this windy. It wasn't until the day I visited the set of The Last Adam . Director Ed Banuel sits in the yard of a nice home in the Kirkwood area that will play the home of the title character in the film. I arrive early to find a CNN crew documenting the activity. I slide around the set trying to stay unnoticed and take in the flow of the production as a fly on the wall. More >>

Fox NASCAR commercial

Director Joseph Kahn's apocalyptic vision became the Athens set of "Capture the Flag," a three-day commercial shoot for NASCAR and Fox Sports to jumpstart the buzz for the upcoming season of the wildly popular racing series next February. The campaign is intended to consist of four spots with three of NASCAR's younger and hottest stars: Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kurt Busch and Jimmy Johnson. More >>
