Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Toby Sells is a special makeup effects artist currently working out of Lawrenceville, Ga. He has credits on several high budget horror films including; Phantasm II (1988), Deep Star Six (1989) and recently One Missed Call, set for release in 2008. He has also worked on various successful local productions including; The Signal (2007), Dark Remains (2005), and Ghost of the Needle (2003). He is currently working on Greg Bishop's Dance of the Dead.

Wikipedia describes
storyboard artists very fluently: "A storyboard artist is able to visualize any
stories using quick sketches on paper at any moment. A storyboard artist is
also known as an illustrator or visualizer. They are mostly freelance artists,
typically hired by art directors and film directors. Deadlines are always
tight, and overnight working is very common."

"...and Action!!!" How many times have we heard that on set? For a stunt coordinator, it means hard work and sweat, pain - and fun. Here is a little behind-the-scenes look at what a stunt coordinator does and how we do it. I have been performing and coordinating stunts for two decades. I got started doing stunts and action in live shows: sword fighting, jousting and falling off of horses for fun and profit. Let me start with my back-story, as my road to becoming a stunt coordinator was not a straight one.

So you think you want to make a movie and need some post advice? Rather than just going down a checklist of what you should or shouldn't do to make your post experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible, I'd like to offer this bit of advice: be honest with yourself and start by admitting HOW MUCH you don't know. Like any profession, film and television production must be taken seriously.
