festivals and digital media art centers have been operating worldwide,
provoking new forms of art, film, video, as well as interactive art and video, and many other manifestations of new technology in the form of Art. The point is that the terms ‘new forms of art’ or ‘new

It all started with Ed...Banuel that is. We rolled out our first issue on Oct. 15, 2005 at 8 p.m. Now we're putting out Issue #7 which marks one year of CinemATL Magazine. As we spoke about in our very first Southern Hospitality we still get asked, "how do you pronounce that?" every now and then...

use the magazine to cover our own projects, like Return of the Jackalope or Spleen,
which both played at festivals this year. But as the holidays come around, it’s always nice to reflect

"...and Action!!!" How many times have we heard that on set? For a stunt coordinator, it means hard work and sweat, pain - and fun. Here is a little behind-the-scenes look at what a stunt coordinator does and how we do it. I have been performing and coordinating stunts for two decades. I got started doing stunts and action in live shows: sword fighting, jousting and falling off of horses for fun and profit. Let me start with my back-story, as my road to becoming a stunt coordinator was not a straight one.

On
September 17, 2006 I traveled out to Dacula Georgia to observe one of Lynch
Mob’s final shooting days. The film deals with a mob informant,
Weasel, who is put in the witness protection program after turning over
evidence to the FBI. He relocates to the town of Lynchburg where it is
soon revealed that the townspeople suffer from a curse placed on them.
