He has credits on several high budget horror films including; Phantasm II (1988), Deep Star Six (1989) and recently One Missed Call, set for release in 2008. He has also worked on various successful local productions including; The Signal (2007), Dark Remains (2005), and Ghost of the Needle (2003). He is currently working on Greg Bishop's Dance of the Dead.

I would have loved “Into the Wild” when
I was in my 20s. Although I was never as outdoorsy as its young hero,
I would have related like crazy to his
youthful rebellion against his bourgeois Virginia parents. While I was opposed to materialism – and still am to some
extent – I never abandoned it the way Chris does – giving away his savings,
cutting up his credit cards, abandoning his car and burning his
cash.

about a good ol' boy, Randy, who is from a middle-class Atlanta suburb. Randy has an identical-twin
gay brother, Cecil (Ray McKinnon plays both brothers), and he's married to a
clinically depressed baton teacher with Carpal Tunnel syndrome (Lisa Blount).

Writer/Director Marshall Lewy crafts a disarmingly fun, and at times emotional, road film set against the backdrop of Bush-era ideological angst. It works well and certainly tries to be fairly even-handed along the way, despite going in expecting a particular view of American politics, and getting it if that's what you're looking to find.

The dessert comes before the vegetables
in “Feast of Love,” an overflowing bowl of love and death (apologies to Woody
Allen) from director Robert Benton. He gets his customary fine work from a fine
cast and directs each scene beautifully, but the meal doesn’t equal the sum of
its courses.

The government won’t tell
you, and the old age makeup may fool you, but Michael Douglas actually filmed
“King of California” in 1969, back-to-back with his first starring feature,
“Hail, Hero!” Never mind that his co-star, Evan Rachel Wood wasn’t born until
1987. If you don’t believe me, as Douglas’ character, Charlie is prone to say,
“look it up.”
