AFF Monday Night
April 24th, 2007 by dslemonsTo those whom I promised I would post this last night – my bad. Last night was really fun, however getting home at three was a little rough.
I only managed to make it to two screenings yesterday, being Murder Party and the Rapid i Movement competition. Murder Party was actually really good. I had heard a few negative things about it throughout the weekend, but did not find them to be true at all. It had excellent sound design, looked great, and had a good original story.
RiM was fun too. There were some technical glitches, but after a while they became mostly transparent. Although one film that I know of was cut short before it was over, and a scene was lost.
I am eager to hear the results from the judges. I was hoping they would announce the awards after the screenings, but technical issues caused the program to run late. I’m not sure if they planned on announcing the awards there or not, but that would have made the most sense.
